The Accommodation:
Operating since May 2011, Arcadia Cottage is a superb example of an early 20th century semi-detached North Norfolk cottage that has been recently refurbished and is set up with everything you will need for an enjoyable and memorable holiday. The ground floor accommodation features a comfortable lounge accessed from the hallway, a separate dining/breakfast room at the rear of the property beyond which can be found the fully equipped brand new kitchen and a utility area. The property is gas central heated throughout and the lounge also features a magnificent fireplace with decorative fireplace.
Arcadia Cottage features 3 bedrooms on the first floor (a double, a twin and a single bedroom). The family bathroom is also upstairs and features a bath with an overhead shower.
Arcadia Cottage’s main attraction, apart from its location close to shops and the beach, is its magnificent, English country-style garden which is very popular with guests. The garden is fully enclosed and is a riot of colour and interest, especially in spring and summer seasons. A real sun-trap, it’s also great for al-fresco dining.
Ground Floor:
Lounge: with a bay-window this lovely light filled space, is comfortably appointed and includes a 2-seater and a 3-seator sofa, and an accent armchair. Other features include a magnificent ornate decorative fireplace , a flat screen HDTV, and DVD and CD players.
Dining/Breakfast room: features a dining table with seating for six, a guest library. Local interest literature and assorted family games.
Kitchen/Utility area: Brand new fully equipped kitchen overlooking garden, including electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer.
1st Floor
Bedroom 1: Comfortable, airy double bedroom, with ample wardrobe and drawer space including a vanity and mirror. Centrally heated with ample room to set up the cot-bed if required.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds, including chest of drawers, bedside tables and lights, with views over the garden.
Bedroom 3: Single bedroom, including chest of drawers, bedside table and light.
Family bathroom: Newly refitted bathroom incorporating bath with overhead shower, toilet, wash-basin, and electric towel rack.

The Area
Outside areas
Garden - the beautiful English style garden is to the rear of the property and can be accessed via the side entrance or from the backdoor in the kitchen. The garden is fully enclosed and contains a summer house, patio area with BBQ facilities and garden furniture. The garden also contains a small split level pond that is fully covered for the protection of families with small children.
Parking - offstreet parking for a single car is available at the front of the cottage. An additional parking space on the road directly in front of the property is also reserved for guest use (as this is used for access to the off-street parking space).
Additional Information
A travel cot and stair-gate are also available for guest use.
Arcadia Cottage is pleased to welcome well-behaved dogs.
Arcadia Cottage is available for weekly/fortnightly bookings, preferred change-over day – Saturday, depending on bookings may be flexible on this please enquire with owner.
Weekend/Mid-week short breaks throughout the year subject to availability please contact owner for details. Minimum 2 night stays.
Short breaks available during High Season at short notice only.
